Observatoire des cancers PACA
L’observatoire des cancers recense les cancers invasifs et in situ diagnostiqués histologiquement par les laboratoires d’anatomie pathologique de la région PACA, inscrits dans l’association CRISAP PACA.
Cette base de données est localisée et gérée au Département de Santé Publique du CHU de Nice dans le cadre d’une convention CHU-CRISAP PACA. Elle est exhaustive pour le département des Alpes Maritimes. Elle permet, entre autres, de chiffrer l’activité dans la région PACA et de calculer l’incidence annuelle des différents cancers ayant une confirmation histologique dans la population du département des Alpes-Maritimes.
Entre le début de l’enregistrement en 2005 et jusqu’à 2013 la base de données comporte 163583 diagnostics de cancer invasif et 75424 de cancer in situ.
